Genotoxicity & Signaling

Genotoxicity?

DNA integrity is essential to keep cellular information. We study the toxic effects of different contaminants (nanoparticles, mycotoxins, etc) on the genome, or genotoxicity. We also develop biomarkers to characterize genotoxicants mechanisms of action. Finally, we are interested in the effects of some of these compounds, present as food contaminants, alone or in mixtures (cocktail effect), at very low doses and for chronic exposures.
