Sophie joined the team in January 2016. After a PhD in plant biochemistry and a post-doctoral fellowship at BASF (Germany), Sophie was recruited to INRAE ​​in 1995. Her research activities focused on glutathione transferases and the chemical fate of pesticides and, more broadly, organic contaminants in plants. Since 2016, her work has focused on the study of the patulin biosynthesis pathway and its regulation.
