Philippe first worked at the CEA and was then recruited to INRAE ​​in 1993 at the Cell Genetics Laboratory before joining the unit in 2001. He contributes to the development of tools for analyzing the effects of food contaminants and to the development of experimental approaches on animals, cell culture models and intestinal explants used in the team. He is conducting research on the effects of mycotoxins on intestinal tissue, which was the subject of his doctorate obtained in 2012 at the Ecole Pratique des Hautes Etudes.
