EFSA

Martine Kolf-Clauw is a member of a committee of experts of EFSA that assesses the safety of regulated products

The CEF Panel ("Contact-Enzyme-Flavouring") includes experts of different European nationalities with skills in all relevant areas of risk evaluation. Martine Kolf-Clauw (Professor at the Toulouse College of Veterinary Medicine, researcher in the Immuno-Myco-Toxicology team of Toxalim) joined the panel as a toxicologist.
The members of the Panel are appointed by the Board of the European Food Safety Authority (EFSA) for a term of three years. Nominations are based on proven scientific excellence of candidates following a public call for applications and a rigorous selection process.
 

  • The group of materials in contact with food, enzymes, flavorings and processing aids (CEF) focuses on issues related to the safety of materials in contact with food (packaging), enzymes, flavorings and processing aids and also on process safety.
  • The CEF panel belongs to the FIP unit (ingredients and food packaging).
