Carnot Institutes

Carnot Institutes

TOXALIM participates actively in ICSA, the Carnot Institute for Animal Health, supported by INRA (Animal Health Division)

For several years now, INRA is committed to improving its capacity for dialogue with companies, but also to professionalize its contracting procedures. Concrete expression of this commitment: the recent introduction of three "Carnot institutes", co-ordinated by INRA in the areas of food, green chemistry and animal health.

Carnot Institutes are thematic scientific networks certified by the Ministry of Higher Education and Research for 5 years to facilitate public research partnership with business actors.

Several TOXALIM teams are involved in ICSA (the Institut Carnot for Animal Health), led by Etienne Zundel (Animal Health Division, Nouzilly). ICSA brings together research teams from 16 units in 9 different organisations and universities.
